extern


Keyword extern is used for indicating the variable is external and is declared outside every function and can be accessed by any function.

Syntax:
extern int variable_name; 


Example:

#include 
int main(){
    extern int i; //It will search the initialization of
                  //variable i.
    printf("%d",i);
    return 0;
}
int i=20;    //Initialization of variable i.

Output: 20
