enum


enum is used to define enumerated type data type. Enumerated data type creates a set of constant of type int.

Syntax:
enum enum_var{
   var1;
   var2;
   var3;
};


Example:

#include 
enum week{ sunday, monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday, saturday};
int main(){
    enum week today;
    today=wednesday;
    printf("%d day",today+1);
    return 0;
   }
