Used to define an enumerated type. Each of the names in the name-list are given a distinct value. This should be used in place of defining variables using âmagic numbersâ (eg. int Monday = 0, int Tuesday = 1, etc).
Syntax:enum variable name(value,value,...);
Example:enum weekdays {Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday};
