About box


A dialogue box with information about the company who made the program and often other useful information such as the version of the program, user, or serial number. In Microsoft Windows, the About box can be accessed by clicking the Help drop-down menu and selecting "About xxxx", where "xxxx" is the name of the program. In the picture to the right, is an example of the Mozilla Firefox About box.
