Tag Description

The dir tag is used to list directory titles.

This tag has the form:

<dir compact="compact">
  list item
</dir>

HTML5 and HTML4.01 Differences

Not supported in HTML5.

Attributes

Attribute Value Description
compact compact Specifies that the list should render smaller than normal
HTML4: deprecated in html4.01
HTML5: not supported in html5
