drawImage()


drawImage( ) method is used to display images. It is defined by Graphics class.

Syntax:
boolean drawImage(Image imgob, int left, int top, ImageObserver imgob)


Example:

import java.awt.Graphics;
import java.awt.Graphics2D;
import java.awt.Image;
import java.awt.Toolkit;

import javax.swing.JComponent;
import javax.swing.JFrame;

class MyCanvas extends JComponent {

  public void paint(Graphics g) {
    Graphics2D g2 = (Graphics2D) g;

    Image img1 = Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().getImage("yourFile.gif");
    g2.drawImage(img1, 10, 10, this);
    g2.finalize();
  }
}

public class Graphics2DDrawImage {
  public static void main(String[] a) {
    JFrame window = new JFrame();
    window.setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE);
