Description

The SYSDATE( ) function returns the current date and time in the format 'YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS' or YYYYMMDDHHMMSS.uuuuuu, depending upon the function used as a string or numeric.

This function has the form:

SELECT SYSDATE()

Return Value

The current date and time in the format 'YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS' or YYYYMMDDHHMMSS.uuuuuu
